Northwest Chapter

President’s Message

Dear Floral Family and Friends,

As the snow falls gently here in Saskatchewan and the holiday lights twinkle, I find myself embracing the soft and gentle rhythm of the season. This past year has been a journey filled with quiet moments of reflection and cherished memories across the Northwest region of the AIFD floral family.

We’ve savored the simple joys, from small events and conventions and conferences from Montana to California and Seattle/Tacoma to Vancouver and more! Our Northwest members continue to aspire and grow in our industry with teaching, mentoring and attending floral competitions. I am proud of all the volunteer work we all do and of all the happy moments of success of our cherished members.

I look forward to being home for Christmas this year and cozy evenings with my husband Kelly and my boys, our Westies Wallace and Fergus enjoying peaceful walks in the crisp winter air. I find comfort and strength in the presence (even from afar) of my fabulous friends in AIFD as we create beauty and share our passion for flowers.

This holiday season, as we gather with family and friends, my wish is that you all cherish the gentle moments and look forward to the new year. I hope we continue to grow together and are continuously learning and advancing our flower industry. Reflecting on the accomplishments and experiences that have shaped our journey… moving forward to build even more bonds and relationships as we prepare for the 2025 AIFD Symposium in Palm Springs.

May your days be filled with serene moments and your hearts with boundless happiness. Wishing you warmth, peace, and the gentle glow of love and joy this holiday season and throughout the coming year.

With love and gentle hugs, yours in flowers and friendship.
