President’s Message

Merry Christmas to all our AIFD and CFD members and candidates

As I reflect om the year, we has been a great one. We started off with a bang with a beautiful show at the beautiful Mark Roberts Imports showroom in Santa Ana California. It was a tremendous day of design and knowledge for successful designs and products from Rene Van Rems AIFD and Rocky Pollitz AIFD. The design and creation portion featured Mark Roberts and his design staff with showing from creation to production of items and the great lengths they take to produce those fabulous products.

Members and guests were utterly amazed at this beautiful showroom. Thanks again to Mark Roberts for your generosity and support.

September also was active for members in our region and Hawaii for a fabulous design retreat with the Hawaiian Floral Council, thanks to all the talented members for your support.

The new year will bring more education and participation in the Tempe Blooms Event with the Arizona Flower Market starting January 24 with designs and presentations.

March will bring us back to Southern California to Shinoda Design Center for a workshop and program March 15 & 16 ,2025 look for details upcoming.

We are also looking forward to Palm Springs this summer and celebration AIFD diamond celebration.

As I reflect on the growth of AIFD its history and continuing education continues to be the leaders in the Floral Industry here and around the world. Ti think it started with a concept and a group of from California to influence the world and designers around the world today. Join us in celebration this summer.

May we all celebrate the holidays and ring in the new year and for a blessed and peaceful world.
